Hi, I'm Kathryn Moore

Permanent Eyebrow Specialist based in Hamilton

I’ve worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years, specialising in eyebrows for much of this time. Having been creative from an early age I always knew I’d follow a career in the beauty / make up industry.

After completing an HND in Beauty Therapy I was offered a job with the medespa group, Glasgow, where I began my beauty career working alongside aesthetic nurses and training in advanced skin treatments. From 2008 I worked as a freelance beauty therapist before taking a career break to follow a life long dream and backpack around the world. On my return home I spent a lot of time researching permanent make up schools and studying this ever evolving art before choosing my training academy. I chose to specialise solely in permanent eyebrows, which is where my passion lies and what I love to do!

I first came across permanent make up several years ago when after a lot of research I had my own eyebrows tattooed by Claire Hobson, who I went on to train with at Elite Permanent Make up Academy , Liverpool.

Advanced Brow Creation masterclass, Tallinn, Estonia

In April 2017 I travelled to Tallinn, Estonia to attend a group masterclass with Nataliya Yeremenko, one of the most talented and skilled permanent make up artists on the planet! Artists from 23 different countries attended this 2 day full on course to learn how to create super natural permanent brows. I had an amazing time, met some lovely people and most importantly learned lots of advanced brow techniques!

Ombré Eyebrows Masterclass

In October 2016 I had the pleasure of meeting Rusen Donmez, an international master in Ombré brows when he visited Scotland, completing a one to one masterclass at my studio in Hamilton.

I will always continue to develop my skills in permanent make up as I believe that ongoing training and education are essential in order to keep up to date with new techniques, advanced skills and to provide my clients with the best possible results.

I always book more than enough time for each of my clients as permanent make up is an art and shouldn’t be rushed. I need time to carefully analyse your face, skin type and bone structure in order to create brows that will suit your individuality.
